SAECO - major player for Gas Turbine Overhauls

Completed 6 overhauls in SEC-WEST as our first entry into Saudi Aramco market. SAECO was awarded a contract for the rehabilitation of 9 units of Frame 5 gas turbines at Gizan against a competitive bidding, which also included up-ratings of 3 units. Total service orders worth MSR. 92.00 were executed. This project is unique in this part of the world and was completed successfully. SAECO faced several technical and managerial challenges during the execution stage, including critical machining of the turbine casing, which was carried out entirely by SAECO without any support from OEM (GE).
